Well Woman Gynae Health Screen
A thorough check to provide the peace of mind that only a detailed understanding
and knowledge of your long-term gynaecological health can provide.

Suitable for:
• Women over 40
• Women under 40 delaying starting a family
• Women with a family history of gynaecological problems.


½ hour consultation covers:
• Discussion on family history and general gynaecological well-being
• Pelvic examination
• Concerns about fertility
• Pre-conception advice
• Concerns about the peri-menopause
• Ongoing contraception advice and active treatment.


Can include, if appropriate:
• Cervical smear (if you have not had one in last 12 months)
• Hormone check
• Advice on and tests for sexually-transmitted diseases eg.chlamydia.


Does NOT include:
• Breast examination (this should be undertaken by a Consultant Breast Specialist). Mr Thonet can refer you if appropriate.

Cost:
