Do I need a referral letter from my GP?
Although Robert Thonet welcomes patients who have not been referred by their
GP, he would usually advise you to see your GP in the first instance to discuss the treatment you are considering. If you will be claiming under a medical insurance policy, please, if possible, check with your insurer before making an appointment.

What do you charge for a consultation?
Consultation fees vary depending on the type of consultation booked.
Robert Thonet’s Practice Manager will be happy to discuss his fees with you by telephoning 020 8398 0046.

Does it matter at which hospital I see Mr Thonet?
If you are seeing Mr Thonet under a medical insurance scheme, you should
contact your insurer for advice. Self-paying patients can be seen at either Parkside
or London Bridge Hospital and may choose the location for each appointment to
suit themselves.

How long do I have to wait for an appointment?
Appointments are usually available within 2 weeks of request.

How long will I have to wait for my procedure?
Gynaecological operations are usually best performed shortly after a period,
but can usually be performed within 2 to 3 weeks of your consoltation.
